RAH Sculpture
Why: The Royal Adelaide Hospital invested significantly in the development of courtyard gardens and public artworks to improve the experience of the hospital environment. Many visitors engage only passively with these courtyards and artworks, leading to the identification of an opportunity to create a reason for people to engage.
What: In this project we worked with AR and VR to explore opportunities to augment the sculptural works at the Royal Adeliade Hospital. The project developed a concept for a series of guided art trails that would provide opportunities for different lengths of engagement, and different forms of engagement. We developed concepts for in-situ AR experiences, remote VR experiences for those in the hospital who were not able to access the garden spaces. The prototype included gamified structure of collecting, together with guided mindful practices.
